How stupid does someone have to be to pretend to have a bomb while boarding a plane? I am glad to see that our air marshals are doing their jobs, and idiots like that are getting what they have coming to them.
Update: According to the latest news reports, the guy was bipolar and not taking his medication. Thus, my initial reaction that this was just some idiot thinking he was being funny was a tad off. Oops...

It's sad this man had to die, but I do think the Air Marshalls did their job well.
If nothing else, it may act as a determent for other idots that yell "bomb".

In so far as death is a sorrowful thing, yes. OTOH, its hard to feel sorry for someone who pretends to have a bomb and then gets killed...

According to the latest reports, this guy was bi-polar and off his meds, so I guess that would qualify as mentally unstable... :)
I just feel sorry for the poor air marshals who now have to live with this even though really they are just doing their jobs and are blameless in this case. Still sucks for them, though.
