The Oslo Natural History Museum have a
gay animal exhibit going. Personally, I
think it would be interesting to see. Homosexual behavior in the animal kingdom has been documented for quite some time, and it is an interesting topic. However, I find some of the motives of the organizers to just be stupid.
"Homosexuality is a common and widespread phenomenon in the animal world," says an exhibition statement.
So is eating your young and killing offspring fathered by competing males. Whether or not something is a "widespread phenomenon" in the animal world has nothing to do with whether or not something is right or wrong in the human world. The only determining factor of whether something is right or wrong in the human realm is God and His Word.
The museum says one of its aims is to "help to de-mystify homosexuality among people... we hope to reject the all too well known argument that homosexual behaviour is a crime against nature".
And for their next exhibit, they hope to display several packs of dogs, saying "we hope to reject the all to well known argument that licking your own ass and returning to your own vomit is a crime against nature".
