Sad Start to the Season
Well, the news this morning is that Kirby Puckett has died from the stroke he suffered. Back in 1987 and 1991, when he went to the World Series with the Twins, we lived in NW Wisconsin, just about an hour from the twin cities. There were a lot of Twins fans up there, and Kirby was a big name. So, my condolences to all the hurting Twins fans out there...

What a relevant scripture Stuffle! I was always into the A's as a kid, but Mr. Puckett was one of the few non A's that I would cheer for. I once went to an A's Twins game and when he got up I cheered and I was in the A's section. Hey, you gotta call a spade a spade! I know he is better of in heaven.
