It is May, and the Brewers are at the Top

It is May 2nd, and with last nights victory over the despised Cardinals (if you wonder why the Cardinals are despised in these here parts, think 1982 World Series), the Brewers now have the best record in the major leagues. Enjoy it while it last, folks...

While we are on the subject of the Cardinals, while it is true that we hate your team almost as much as we hate the Cubs, we are also saddened by your loss, and pray for your healing.

Now, with that out of the way, let's sweep these stupid red birds out of town, boys!!

Stuffle, my team is also on top at the moment, but I am sure you too know that, alas, both of our teams will end up snake bit somehow.

Enjoy as long as you can, as i will with my Angels!

Yup, gotta enjoy it while it lasts...

Today, the crew has a 21-10 record (.677, best in the league), and starts a series against Washington, who has a record of 9-22 (.290, worst in the league, and the only team still having single digits in the 'W' column).

It is right about now that the wheels normally fall off... :)
